Hello again……
English – we have been working hard this week writing our own story based on the “Stone Age Boy.” We include speech, descriptive sentences and similes. As this was an extended piece of writing we split this up over a few days. The children worked really hard and some great writing has been produced.
Maths- The children have been working on word problems, based on x3 x4 and x8- always a bit tricky. Nevertheless, we have some good mathematicians in year 3.
We all looked fantastic on Friday in our costumes to support Children in Need and our odd socks to support Anti Bullying week. Thank you very much for all your donations and support with this.
Both year 3 classes have done really well with attendance over the past few weeks and as a result have 3 ribbons. Thank you parents for your help as without this we can’t achieve our good attendance, and a plea to both parents and children---- please keep it up…. Have a great weekend and see you all on Monday
