22nd September

This week we have begun to form friendships with the other children in our classroom.

We have thought about how we can be a nice friend.  We know that it is fair to share and to pass our smiles onto other children that may be feeling a little sad.

We have settled into the routine of pre school and use:

'eyes for looking'

'ears for listening'

'mouths for speaking'

'heads for thinking' and

'hands on our laps to concentrate' at carpet times.

We have also celebrated THREE birthdays this week.  Jenson, Pippa and Nataya have all turned four in addition to Mason who celebrated his birthday in the first week back in pre school.

We have been thinking this week about shapes and made our favourite shape into a puppet!  Omar loved his triangle puppet and made it dance at carpet time!

Also, Kian and Grace deserve a big THUMBS UP for their hard work at pre school this week.  They have shown determination and made all of the grown ups very proud.

We hope you all received your learning challenges, giving you some ideas how to support your child's learning at home throughout our topic for the next two weeks 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears'.  We are very excited to start learning about size, feelings, story telling and sequencing this week using the story.

Below is a slideshow of some of the busy things we have been doing this week.

See you next week!
