24th November

Welcome back!

This week we have had a very tasty week...that's because in our Topic lessons we have been taking a journey around the UK and we have been trying lots of different foods on our way. We researched Scotland first and enjoyed tasting potato cakes, haggis and shortbread biscuits whilst listening to bagpipes.

After that we had a visit to Wales, where we sampled bara brith (fruit bread), Welsh cakes and Welsh cheese too!

In Maths we have continued to work with money, this time adding amounts together and finding the change. We are getting pretty confident now!

In English we have continued to work on planning our own version of Superworm!

We hope you have a great weekend!

Love Miss Mousdell and Mrs Turton
