29th September

This week we have been learning about Goldilocks and the three bears.

We have been acting out the story by wearing masks in the home corner and making each other porridge.

This gave the grown ups a great idea, and we had real porridge for snack on Tuesday.  Most of us thought it was delicious!

We have also been learning abut SIZE.  We found out that this means how big or small something is, and we measured the children to find out who was the biggest (tallest!) in the class and who was the smallest (shortest!) in the class.  Leighton is the tallest and Callum is the smallest.....WOW!

We have also been on the daily mile.  We go for 20 minutes of exercise every day, usually in the afternoon.  We run, hop, skip, play games and practise our good walking skills through the school.  Ask the children to sing our song 'Ah, ah, ah, ah stay in the line, stay in the line' (to the Bee Gees song Stayin' Alive)

Thanks for popping by.  This week has gone so fast!

See you all next Friday

xx
