Football
We have a broad selection of football clubs available to children at Westfield. Pupils have the opportunity to join a club from as early as Year 2 and can continue to train right through to Year 6. We have two football teams at Westfield who both compete in the WOWS League and Cup competitions. As well as this we have our very own Years 2 and Year 3 football clubs who take part in various festivals within the local community. All four of our teams have been extremely successful in recent seasons. Lets hope for the same success in 2018/19!
Our Under 11s and Under 10s teams trains on Thursday evenings from 3:30 p.m. until 4:15 p.m. with Mr Fletcher, Mrs Rothwell, Mr Jackson and Mr Crook.
Both of our teams had a very successful season last year. Our Year 5 team were joint winners in their league, as well as coming runners up in the WOWs cup. Whilst our Year 6 team enjoyed being runners up in their league.
