Maths
This week in maths we have been subtracting mentally. We have subtracted ones, multiple of 10's and 100's from 3 digit numbers. We thought it was going to be tricky, but it wasn't!

English
We started to look at our new book 'The Tunnel' by Anthony Browne. We started the week on Monday by thinking about what the world at the end of the tunnel would be like. On Tuesday, we discussed Rose's dilemma and thought about what we would do if we were Rose. On Wednesday we wrote a character description about Jack and on Thursday we wrote one about Rose. On Friday, we compared the book to other fairy tales and made links between them.
Topic
In Topic we started to look at homes in the Stone Age and how they developed, we had to draw the four different types of homes. Check them out below!
Science
We began our new topic all about ROCKS! We started by looking at the different types of rocks, we compared their size, colour, shape and weight. Then we looked at how rocks are formed. The three different types are Igneous, Sedimentary and Metamorphic. Do you know the different processes?
