Friday 12th January
Hello and welcome back to our blog. Here’s what we’ve been up to this week…
In English we have continued with our new book, Hetty Feather and have done a range of work around that, mainly based on empathy. We have also explored Hetty as a character and can’t wait to find out what’s going to happen in the story.
In maths we have been working out percentages and applying them in many different ways. The children have found this concept quite tricky but have put in their best efforts none the less! Well done to them!
We looked at the British Empire in topic as we will be studying the Victorians s part of our history topic this term.
Science has had us exploring the circulatory system and finding out how our hearts work, we are really looking forward to finding out more about this.
