Friday 15th January 2016

Hello, and welcome back to our blog.  We have been so busy since coming back to school.

In Maths this week, we have been looking at fractions.  We have worked out equivalent fractions, converting improper fractions to mixed numbers and even added and subtracted fractions.  You thought fractions were difficult?  We don't, we think they're easy.  Take a look at the pictures below of our fraction museum exhibits.  We made these on Friday.

In English we have been looking at a book called `The Day the Crayons Quit'.  It is a really great book that is written in letters.  These letters are written to Duncan and they are from his crayons.  Here is an example.

Today we had lots of fun writing our own crayon letters.  We need to redraft and edit them and write them out as a final draft.  We will share these hopefully next week.

In PE this week, we have been working at our circuit training.  Last week we did a bleep test.  Take a look at the photos here.
