Olympic week!!
Well what a fabulous last full week at school we have had. Its been so exciting here are the highlights.
Monday started with the Opening Ceremony! We were joined by famous athletes who officially opened our Olympic games. However, we were then disappointed as the bad weather meant our sports day was cancelled. (Fingers crossed for good weather and a rescheduled sports day).
On Thursday the children performed a fabulous Moving on assembly. Thank you if you were able to attend. Please see the video if you would like to watch it again!!!
Friday was an extra special day as many awards were given out.
4 children have successfully learned the Bronze words (which are actually aimed at year 3).
Some children got a 100% attendance certificate and the top 2 gold card
winners were informed that they are visiting the cinema on Monday as a treat.
All of the 100% attendance winners were put in a draw to win a bike and out of 36 children Terence was chosen as a winner. He went to choose his bike with Mrs Pennington and he will be presented with his bike next week!! we are all so excited for Terence.
