Welcome back to Year 4 blog.

This has been another exciting week.  The book fair has been with us all week.  On Wednesday morning we got chance to check out the new books.  Wow! Some really exciting titles.  Lots of us used our Book Day Token to help buy a new book and extend our growing libraries.   Take a look at some of the pictures.

In Maths we have been busy learning to find fractions of amounts.  Our teachers invited use to be waiters and waitresses at Perijee's Juice Bar.  Perijee is one of the main characters in our class reader Perijee and Me by Ross Montgomery.  Our teachers were really impressed with how well we did our work. (Including Mr Sherriff who popped in to watch the lesson.)  Hey, why don't you try finding fractions of amounts with this online game? Click here

The other big news in Maths -TT Rockstars.  If you haven't already done so, download the app from the AppStore or Google play.  It's free and our school has subscribed so that our children can access it.  It's a great way of help with our times tables, which at Year 4 we are expected to know all the way up to 12 x 12.  Check out the website here.

Today of course was Sports Relief Day.  We came dressed in style, and on Friday afternoon, the who school danced.  How cool!
