Friday 23rd May

This week, we have continued to be busy.

Within Literacy, we have completed several pieces of writing. We have reviewed our favourite pair of trainers and written a ....PERFECT PARAGRAPH!!! Today, we have watched one of the acts from last weeks Britain's Got talent (BAM) and wrote a review on their performance.

Fractions have been the focus in maths this week. We have learnt how to add, subtract, multiply and divide them!!

Unbelievably, we worked on this with pizzas: cheese and tomato, ham and pineapple plus spicy chicken....Yum!!!

On Tuesday afternoon, we had our world cup draw. All of the 32 countries taking part went into the draw along with all of our names. We now all have a country each to work on. Our first task was to find the flag, find the capital city plus at least one interesting fact - we found out myriad facts!!! This will be our weekly focus as the games approach.

We are really looking forward to working on the ALPS in the first week back after half term and taking part in bikeability.

Well done to  Lucy for being this week's certificate winner for  her perfect paragraph!                       .

Have a safe and happy week off!!!

Good luck to the choir and Laura tonight at the final of the Max Factor talent show.
