Friday 2nd March 2018

Welcome back to the Year 4 blog.  We hope you had a lovely half term and have managed to stay warm all week.

We have had a busy, busy first week back.

In English, we have started to look at a new wordless book by the author David Weisner.  The book is called Sector 7.  It is the story of a boy who goes on a school trip to the Empire State Building.  Whilst looking out from the observatory he is magically whisked away by a friendly cloud to a place called Sector 7 -which is where clouds are made.

Take a look at some of our work.

We have had a couple of highlights this week.  Yesterday, as you know was World Book Day.  What an amazing effort we all made!  Take a look at some of the pictures.
Take a look at this amazing reply from Kieran Larwood kindly sent in by Nan and dad.  One of our World Book Day Podkins.
Oh, we got 100% attendance this week.  This means that on Monday we can come in to school in our own clothes.  Whoop, whoop!
