Hello and welcome to Year 4W 's blog on this fine snowy day !
We have had a great time this week in our science lessons! We have been looking at taking care of our teeth and a few children were picked to try some disclosing tablets !
2 children each chewed a tablet and the other children watched as their mouths went bright purple! The purple dye showed the plaque on their teeth and they had to brush all the purple dye away ; therefore removing all the plaque and keeping their teeth healthy!
2 other children accepted the challenge to brush their teeth and remove any plaque before taking a tablet to see if their mouths were any less purple ! After a good brush , both children chewed a tablet and were amazed as their teeth still stained purple ! Perhaps meaning they didn't brush quite as good as they thought !
