Happy New Year and Welcome back! This term our topic will be 'To Infinity and Beyond.'
English.
In English, we have been reading the story by Oliver Jeffers, 'The Way Back Home.' We have been retelling the story and acting it out using finger puppets.
Maths
In Maths, we have been learning the names and properties of 2D and 3D shapes. Please practise these with us at home.
Science
In Science, we planned and carried out a fair test investigation. We placed a balloon over a bottle and out it in hot and cold water. When the balloon was in the hot water, it inflated.
Topic
In topic, we have been finding out about Space travel. We learnt that the race to the moon was between America and Russia, there is less gravity in Space, the sun is a ball of fire, the moon is made of rock and not cheese and many other fun facts.
