What a busy few weeks we have had!!!!!!!
Here are some of the highlights.
In English we have been reading some fairy tales. We started with Hansel and Gretel and then moved onto Little Red Riding Hood. We have completed many different activities based on these stories including writing our own stories, letters, role play and reading aloud.
In Maths we have been measuring! We have measured length, mass and capacity. We have read scales, ordered and compared measurements.
During our topic lessons we have been learning about some famous explorers. We have learned about Christopher Columbus and Sir Francis Drake. The children have enjoyed hearing about their adventures and what life was like on a ship.
