Friday 9th June 2017

Welcome back to our class blog.

We have been very busy since our last blog. In maths we have been learning about place value. We have been looking at the order of numbers and their position on an empty number line (very grown up stuff!) We even went outside and made our very own human number line on the playground.

In English we have been retelling the story of the detective dog. It is a tale about a dog who helps catch a book thief who has stolen all on the books from school. We enjoyed pretending to go on our own book hunt around school and writing about where they could be.

In Topic we have been designing and making our own emergency vehicles. We used purple mash to design our vehicles on the computer, then printed out the nets and stuck them together. We were really pleased with our designs.

We have also completed some very tricky assessments over the past week. We all worked really hard and the teachers were all very impressed with how sensible we were!

Well, that's all for this week, see you again next week

Love from
