Physical Fortnight is a 2 week intervention programme, to enhance the children's gross/fine motor/manipulative muscles and skills and enable the children to gain an understanding of why we need to look after our bodies and how we can do this.

In class we have been talking about healthy and unhealthy foods. We walked to the local fruit shop to buy healthy fruit for our snack. The children chose, melon, strawberries, coconut, bananas, apples, oranges and grapes.
We used a knife very carefully to chop up the fruit to eat for snack. Using the knife helped to develop our gross and fine motor muscles in our arms.
We visited Norley Hall Adventure Playground, to exercise our gross motor muscles. We climbed high on the climbing frame, slid down the slide, went on the zip wire and ran up and down the grass hills.
