The Very Hungry Caterpillar
We are reading the story of 'The very hungry caterpillar.'
We have been counting quantities of fruit the caterpillar ate -
1 apple, 2 pears, 3 plums, 4 strawberries, 5 oranges.
We have our own very hungry caterpillars!
We have been observing them growing bigger and bigger and fatter and fatter each day. We are sooooooooo excited as they have now turned into cocoons.
In 2 weeks they will hatch into beautiful butterflies.
