Thursday 29th March

Thank you to everyone this week and last week for coming to our Parents' Evenings.

Our Easter Competition

A huge thank you to everyone for participating in our Easter competition! The variety of ideas and effort that was put in is incredible and the children really enjoyed going to look at everyone's eggs throughout school.

Our plants

In science this half term we have been learning about plants. We found out about what the different parts of plants and trees are called and what their job was. We also found out what a plant needed to grow and looked after our own seeds. We planted cress, broad beans or peas.

Our paintings

We have been studying the artist Vincent van Gogh this half term. We looked at some of his famous paintings a learned about the techniques he used when painting. We then practised using these tenhniques and later recreated his famous sunflowers painting using the same techniques.

We hope that you have an enjoyable Easter break, have a lovely rest, eat lots of chocolate and read lots of books!

Lots of love,

Miss Rose, Mrs Duckworth and Mrs Wright
