week ending 16.2.18
This week we have busy developing our knowledge about Celebrations. In particular, Chinese New Year. We started the week off by watching Dragon dancing and Lion dancing. It was amazing! So colourful and vibrant.
We tasted fortune cookies and looked at the different messages and talked about what they meant. It was great.
We have been loving the home challenges that we are completing. This weeks challenge was all about Chinese New Year. Take a look at some of the work we have had returned.
We have also been looking at Chinese culture and the fact that red is such a lucky colour. We created our own money envelopes and developed our cutting skills.
We also created Chinese lanterns. We looked at Chinese script and tried to add some symbols to all of our lanterns.
