Week ending 17.3.17
This week we have been busy learning all about dinosaurs. We have created our very own fossils using playdough. We had to sculpt and press and mould and shape. Take a look at our work
We have also been busy in the kitchen. This week we made dinosaur biscuits. We flattened, rolled and weighed the ingredients to create dinosaur prints. Here we are baking
We have also been developing our knowledge of 2D shapes. We created dinosaur images using the computer. We talked about the differences when using shapes, how many sides each shapes has and the difference between 2D and 3D
We have also been using different materials to create image sharing of dinosaurs. We have had to problem solve, change and adapt our work as and when we need to.
We have also been thinking about the noises a dinosaur would make if it was to move. Take a look at our writing footsteps
We have also been thinking about height. We have ordered dinosaurs from shortest to tallest and talked about the use of language to describe height. Here is an example of us ordering dinosaurs
