This week in pre school we have continued to watch our caterpillars in the chrysalides. We are hoping when we return to school on Monday we may be able to watch them push their way out to become butterflies!
We have also begun our new topic 'Vehicles'. We have read the story 'We all go travelling by'. We have looked at the different types of vehicles that there are in the world and accessed activities based around the story.
In our phonics groups:
Mrs Littler has been reading the story of Three Little Pigs and exploring the story through different activities.
In Mrs Rothwell's group we have been thinking about vehicles and the sound that they begin with using onset rime.
In Susan's group we have learned the first 5 sounds in the RWI programme!
Mrs Wright has been practising green words with her group. Please remember to practise at home too!
We have also held a stay and play session. We will be holding another session on Thursday morning. If your child attends on a Thrsday morning, please stay and play with us if you can!
