Maths
This week we have continued to add with numbers to 20. We have used a number line to count and practised counting on to add. Next week we will move onto subtraction, so practising counting back from any number between 1 and 20 would be helpful!
English
We have learnt our own version of The Town and Country Mouse this week using our knowledge from our topic lessons about what you would see in the town and the countryside. We were busy thinking of lots of different adjectives to use to describe the things we could see.
Science
In science this week we have been learning about birds and reptiles. See what birds you can spot while you’re our and about this weekend.
Topic
In topic we have used aerial photographs of a town (Wigan) and the countryside (part of the Lake District) to find and label the human and physical features we can see.
This week we also went to the ALPS to look for signs of winter.
