This week in pre-school, we have been learning about Lunar New Year.
We enjoyed exploring the lucky colour 'red' in the painting area with Freya's finger paints.
We added some Asian touches to our home corner. Using the chopsticks was very difficult!
We made lucky envelopes which in Lunar New Year tradition would usually hold money for the receiver. However, we had a chocolate coin inside instead!
We also took part in a lion 'dance', well a little Lion walk around the classroom. It was tricky to walk in time with out friends!
We also welcomed another pre-schooler into the Number 4 club!
