Welcome back after our Easter break!
Maths
I hope that you enjoed playing your number games in the pack we ent home before Easter!
In maths we have started to focus on place value to 100. We have looked at the numbers, counted out amounts to 100 and partitioned numbers into tens and ones. But our main focus has been counting forwards and backwards starting from different numbers. We need to practise this every day at home please!!
English
In English this week we have focused on the Gingerbread Man story! We really enjoyed joining in with, "Run, run as fast as you can, you can't catch me I'm the Gingerbread Man!"
We have been thinking about adjectives we can include to describe the characters in the story.
Science
In Science this week we have been learning about plants, why not have a look to see which plants are growing in your local environments.
Topic
In topic this week we introduced our new topic of hot and cold places by looking at your lovely photos (thank you for sending them in) from your days out and holidays to see if you were dressed for hot or cold weather.
Computing
In computing this week we have started to write our e-book on the Gingerbread Man. We will publish these at the end of term!
