Welcome back to school after the Easter break. We hope you had two fun filled weeks with your families!
This week in pre-school we have continued our learning about growing- we have welcomed into our classroom 34 baby caterpillars! This is to support our learning on the text 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'.
The children will all be given a caterpillar to share with a friend a next week- they will be able to watch the miracle of the life cycle of a butterfly before their eyes. We are very excited!
During our outdoor learning session in the woods (ALPS) we went to look for the Very Hungry Caterpillar's friends.
We found slugs, woodlice, beetles, spiders and some of the children were lucky enough to spot two butterflies playing together!
We have also been learning lots in the continuous provision
And we have welcomed two more children into the Number 4 club!
