Maths
In maths this week we have started to focus on multiplication. We have been practising counting in 2s and 10s. We are brilliant at counting in tens! Next week we will be counting in 5s too, so please practice counting in 2s, 5s and 10s as much as you can!
English
In English this week we used our characters from last week (the Kit Kat Kids, Custard Cream Girls etc) to write our own versions of the Gingerbread Man (or Party Ring King!). We thought of adjectives to describe the animals who chased our character and tried to include them.
Science
In science this week we have continued our focus on plants. We went out and about on our school grounds to look at plants and trees then sorted some photos of plants and trees. While we were outside we also looked for the different parts of the plants and trees, like the petals, stems, trunks and branches.
Computing
We have continued to create our ebook of the Gingerbread man this week by designing and writing more pages.
