Fun in the sun!!!
With the weather being hot and sunny we had lots of opportunities with water play this week to keep us cool. We had fun filling, emptying and transporting water with containers, jugs, and cups. This was so much fun!!!
We also had yummy ice pops to cool us down!!! 
Bucket Time!!
We have started an intervention model with all children to develop communication, engage childrens attention, improve listening skills and most importantly for children to have fun and share enjoyment. The activity consists of a bucket and unusal items that are appealing and will capture children's attention for example bubbles, whistle, windmill, spinning toys, light up toys and so on. The grown up starts to bang on the bucket singing " ive got something in my bucket i wonder what it is"? The grown up will then remove an item from the bucket showing it to the children and playing with itand showing what it can do........ Do not let the children touch the toy or it will lose the magic and appeal!! Keep language simple!
The children are loving bucket time take a look and maybe have a go at home!!!
