Friday 14th October 22

Welcome back to Year 4 blog.  First, a couple of questions...

1)  Have you ever had one of those days where you think `Wow! What a great day!'? Well, it just so happens we had one on Wednesday -a Wednesday Wow!

2) Would you know what Oobleck is? No?  Well, let us tell you all about it!

On Wednesday, as you may well know, we have Science.  This week we made oobleck.  Now you might think "MMmm, yes that sounds amazing..." Especially when you see the recipe for it.

Doesn't look like much, does it?

Well, from that we'd agree.  But what if we told you that oobleck acts both as a solid and as a liquid depending on how it is handled?  Now, that is amazing, huh?  If you move the oobleck slowly in your hands, it acts like a liquid -it trickles through your fingers and drips (all over the floor and leaves big mess for the cleaners...for which we are sorryangel).  If you are rough with the oobleck and move it quickly, then it acts just like a solid and you can keep it in a ball shape.  Wow! Amazing isn't it?  See, Wow Wednesday!

Take a look at our pictures of our afternoon, you'll see just how much fun we had.
