Friday 24th March

Hello and welcome to this week's Year 6W blog. It has been another busy week here on the Upper Phase.

A variable is a letter that stands for a specific number. So, in algebra, we solve problems by finding the missing information represented by the variable. For example...

English - This week the children have been writing the beginning of a quest story about a thumb-sized hero called Tom Trueheart. They watched a short film clip to inspire their writing. You can watch it by clicking on the link below...

Our certificate winner this week is Lucy for always working with a smile that lightens the room. We all agree, so a BIG well done from all of Y6W heartheartheart

Thank you to everyone who was able to make it to Parent's Evening this week. It was lovely to see you all and report how well your child is doing in Year 6.

That's all for this week. We hope you have a great weekend and will see you again on Monday.

Don't forget to move your clocks forward on Sunday!
