Hello and a very warm welcome back to our class blog. This week, as always, has been super busy filled with lots of wonderful learning experiences linked to the text On The Farm. We talked about the author and illustrator and their roles and found out that the illustrator was the same as some of pour other favourite texts. A super learning point we discovered.
So let's have a little look at this weeks learning.......
We have spent time exploring the outdoors. We discovered we could make shapes like we had been learning about in class using the Edra blocks.
We explored mathematical language such as under, over, at the side of and in front off by drawing a map in our tough tray. We made and described journeys and used this language in our play
We also continue to update our Sticky Learning book on a weekly basis. This is a great tool for showing off the wonderful work we complete on a weekly basis and allows us to use it to help us develop our memory and recall skills. The children love to look back over past weeks work and think about how they change and develop
Next week we will be using the classic book Rumble In The Jungle to help us with our learning. Maybe you could have a little look at it before hand?
Please find the link below for the text On The Farm. See if your child can recall or retell any of the key events in the story.

Please can I also remind parents that reading books need to be brought to school every Monday. This is the day we listen to the children read and change them. Thank you
Have a wonderful weekend
