Friday 31st January

Hello and welcome back to this week’s blog!

We have been looking at the types of dirty and dangerous jobs that children carried out in the Victorian times as part of our history and English work this week. We then listened to a story about an 11-year-old boy, named Jimmy Turton, who worked as a trapper in the mines and retold his story in our writing.

In maths we have continued with decimals, percentages and fractions and have dealt with some complex problem solving and reasoning activities.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and we will see you on Monday.

Love from Mrs Parry & Mrs Melling xx
