Friday 3rd March 23

It has been a busy week back in school. We have started to learn all about the Romans, and how they invaded Britain. In Maths, we have learnt about unit fractions and ordering them. English has linked to History because we have read a book called Vesuvius Poovius, all about a man from Rome, who invented the flush a long long time ago.

We were lucky enough to win the 5 Ways to be Great campaign a few weeks ago. So Year 3 were selected to have a visitor come in on Mondays to do workshops with us. This week we talked about how to be healthy. We did some movement and played some games that got our hearts beating. It was a lot of fun!

World Book Day 2023 was so much fun.

Year 3 having 'The Day The Crayons Quit' read to them by Mrs Baker, who was dressed as the Green Crayon for World Book Day. What a treat!

What an excellent effort made by the whole class for World Book Day 2023!
