Friday 4th November

Hello and welcome back to our blog for this half term. As always, it has been another busy week in 6W.

In Maths, at the beginning of the week we continued our work on long division. Then, we moved onto investigating fractions. The childwren have been looking at equivalent fractions.

In English, as it was Halloween on Monday, the children have been reading the opening chapters to several spooky reads. They particularly enjoyed Room 13 by Robert Swindell. We have also read a short class novel this week written by Philip Pullman entitled Clockwork or All Wound Up.

Our certificate winner this week was Leo. He won for demonstrating his extensive knowledge of continents, countries and their capital cities. A big well done from all of us. yesyesyes

All that remains is to wish you a fab weekend. Enjoy Bonfire Night and we will see you all again on Monday.
