Welcome back to the Year 4 blog.
As you will know, on Monday Year 4 visited Delamere Forest. What a wonderful day we had! We did some work with a forest ranger name Peter. We identified different trees using their leaves, we made model trees that we labelled and we felt the trees whilst blindfolded to see whether we could identify them from touch alone.
We also went on a `hike' to Old Pale Stones. Which was uphill all the way. But, the good news was, it was downhill all the way back! It was worth the uphill walk as the view was stunning.
Our teachers were so impressed with our behaviour and the way in which we worked when visiting such a beautiful place. Our teachers also slept really well that night (we think the day may have wore them out.)
Anyway, take a look at the pictures of the day below. See you next week.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
