Junior Speaks

On Monday 10th October, four specially selected children from Year 6 represented Westfield Community Primary School at the Junior Speaks competition, hosted by Wigan Rotary Club.  The girls performed brilliantly and impressed the judges making it to the finals.  It was a very close event at the finals on Friday 17th and the girls did extremely well, but did not go on to take a place in the finals.

The girls spoke about the 5p carrier bag charge and spoke clearly and well.  They had to answer questions based on their presentation and use clear speaking voices, expression, guestures and props to score points. I was very proud of the team and would like to thank them all for their hard work.
