On Wednesday and Friday, even though it was very cold weather, we all wrapped up warm and went to the park in small groups. Here we can really strengthen our gross motor muscles by climbing, sliding, swinging, running, jumping, crawling and walking. Plus we learn to be super safe near the road when walking over to the park.
This week we have introduced a new area in our classroom called, Who will you be today? The children have been fantastic in demonstrating their confidence to sing independently and have been requesting a range of songs to sing along too!
We have added a stage, microphones, instruments, dressing up clothes and glasses. The children have loved expressing themselves musically and singing to their friends. They have been joining in imaginative play dressed as their favourite characters.
Take a look at some of our videos of the children on the stage.
Unfortunately not the ones with chocolate chips.
