This week, the children have been visiting the ALP’s area, which is a fantastic outdoor resource on the school grounds. Where the children can explore, investigate and continue their learning outdoors. This week, we continued our Autumn hunts, collecting coloured leaves, sticks and Autumnal objects. We had a play on the rope swings and a picnic snack.
This week we have been focusing on exploring Autumn. High five to everyone who has returned their Autumn bags! We have investigated the different objects we found on our Autumn hunt’s, such as conkers, acorns, colours of leaves, helicopters etc and added these to our learning environment.
We have been encouraging the use of our gross motor skills on the large, outdoor climbing frame. We have climbed to the top of the ladder, jumping safely off the platform, spinning around the bars and sliding the pole. We will continue to access the climbing frame daily during outdoor play.
