We hope everyone had a lovely half term break! Back to a busy week in Pre-school.

This week we are starting a new focus story of ‘The 3 little pigs’. Introducing repeated phrases from the story and talking about the different materials the pigs use to build their houses. The children love to watch Disney’s version on YouTube, singing the song, “Who’s afraid of the big, bad wolf?”

The Thursday children celebrated World book day. We all came to Pre-school dressed up in fantastic costumes! We enjoyed story sessions throughout the day and made piggy biscuits to take home too. Even the Pre-school grown ups dressed up as our focus story, Kerry was the Big bad wolf whilst the team were the little pigs.

Before half term, the children all planted a magic bean (broad bean), look how amazing they have grown! We wonder if anyone’s will grow as tall as Jack’s and reach the clouds? Also, you may remember we had been working super hard on building our own giant’s castle, well look how it turned out. We have added the castle to the entrance of our reading area. Good job everyone!

Tuesday afternoon children - P.E. Don’t forget to keep encouraging your child to put on their socks and shoes independently at home.

Outdoor play - over the half term our outdoor area was redesigned with new areas. We have been super busy exploring our new space.
