Now the children have settled and following our routine, we now have activities planned throughout the day, this week the children have done really well at sitting and listening to stories, they have also loved playing with the farm and animals and making the different animal sounds. We’ve also noticed how good the children are at puzzles 👍🏻.  In the sand and water tray we’ve had the sea animals and trying to catch them with a net,In the sand tray the children have been building sand castles using the buckets and spades.

In our creative area this week the children have been making marks in the foam and gloop, then making cakes out of the play dough and exploring different materials to get messy in 😄

There is a lot of bugs going around at the minute and it may be unfortunate that your child picks up one. A polite reminder that if your child has sickness/diarrhoea they need to be off for 48hours from the last bout.

Also chicken pox has made an appearance, so keep a look out for any small blisters appearing, if your child does have them, could you pleases keep them off nursery until all the spots are dry and scabbed over.

Also as the children are enjoying our messy areas and water play can u please provide spare clothes, thank you.

Below is some pictures of the fun we’ve had this week, we had lots of fun in the school hall aswel.
