The children have had a lovely week and had lots of fun ๐Ÿคฉ

In our mark making area we have been using scissors to cut the play dough, hidden objects in shaving foam and other materials to let the children explore we also loved using the bingo dabbers to improve our fine motor skills.

Our sand and water area has been lots of fun too, we had water with jugs and cups to encourage children to pour, we also had the dolls with flannels so they could wash their babies.

We loved to get messy when we added jelly with spoons and bowls, they all enjoyed tasting it as well ๐Ÿ˜‹

Our adult led activity this week was playing with teddy- during this activity we modelled a few different actions with teddy and the equipment available and say what are you doing.  We then gave the child a simple instruction, such as wash teddy, feed teddy, cuddle teddy.  From this activity the learning we want to see is exploring, copying and looking.  the language being used could be single words and simple sentences and even 2-3 word phrases.  Parents could do this with their child at home too ๐Ÿ‘

At snack time this week all the children tried noodles, spring rolls and prawn crackers why it’s the Chinese New Year, they all loved it ๐Ÿ˜‹

๐ŸŒŸWell done to our star of the day ๐ŸŒŸ
