Week Beginning 14th March 2022

This week has been a very busy week at nursery we have celebrated St Patrick’s day 🍀and Red Nose Day🔴.. we have all enjoyed painting clovers for St Patrick’s day and dressing up in our red clothes for Red Nose Day, take a look..

This week we have continued to take small groups of children to the park, they have enjoyed climbing and walking up the steps to go down the slide. We have taken turns to go on the swings and they have all shown good listening skills when walking there and back😊👍

We have really enjoyed pretending to be firemen and fire girls this week, there was a fire in our cement tray and we used the squirty bottles to put it out. We have also enjoyed the weather this week and started to do some spring collage pictures using glue to stick lots of feathers, Pom poms and tissue paper on.

Some of our other activities include flour play, using our fine motor skills by picking up the Cheerios with tweezers and using scissors to cut the lines on our paper, playing with paw patrol and electronic toys, and also mixing different food colourings into shaving foam😀

We have been really loving our time outside this week especially with the weather☀️ We do ask in the warmer weather if you would kindly start packing sun cream in your child’s bag labelled with their name on it then we can apply when needed. We spend a lot of time outside so please send your child with appropriate clothing on for the weather, and pack lots of spare clothes including socks please as warm weather we play in cool water, thank you👍

Fun times at nursery😊🥰
