Week beginning - 15th March 2021
This week we have been introducing the children to the story of ‘Jack and the beanstalk’. We have been listening to the repeated phrases in the story and also talked about what a front and back cover are, the title and the blurb.
We have been using our super strong hand and finger muscles to plant our own magic beans. We wrote our name on the label and then used the water spray bottles to make our tissue nice and wet as the magic bean needs moisture to grow. We then placed the bean in the sunshine to help it grow. Who’s bean will grow the tallest?
