Tuesday 7th February😊
Today we had such a busy day, first we played in the water play with the sea animals, we then made rainbow bread by adding small amounts of food colouring to water, the children then used pipettes to squirt the colours onto the bread. They really enjoyed seeing the different colours and showed can do attitudes by using the pipettes. We moved onto doing a painting activity, we encouraged the children to use their fingers to follow the lines and shapes, the children did really good listening and showed good control whilst doing this, take a look👍
Wednesday 9th February😊
Today we did “in the moment planning” we let the children play in cardboard boxes to encourage imaginative play. We pretended to be cars, trains and aeroplanes. We drove to the beach and swam in the sea and we took the train to the zoo. We used our magnifying glasses to look for different animals😊
Wednesday we took some of the children to the library, we enjoyed this very much and enjoyed looking at all the different stories😀

Friday 10th February😀
Today we played an I spy game with the children. Traci asked the children questions such as “what’s this” “where is..””what do we use to draw” “what do we use to cut” etc. The children was really good at showing a can do attitude and was confident in finding the correct item for the questions. They could also correctly identify the objects when asked😀👍
Fun times at nursery😀
Today we have been to the local park with the children😀 we are letting the children develop their physical skills by climbing. We watched them as they walked up and down the stairs/steps, the children was very confident in used the climbing rope to get to the slide. They all showed good can do attitudes and give everything a go👍
