Week Ending 26th May
Hello and welcome back to our last class blog of this half term. What a lovely week we have had focusing on the text 'The Snail and the Whale'. We have had lots of lovely activities in our continuous provision. We even had REAL snails to complete some observational drawings of.
We thought of all of the questions we had about snails or whales and wrote them down. We then thought of ways we could find out the information e.g. books or the internet. We searched all of our questions and were fascinated by the answers.
We used our knowledge of patterns to print onto our own snails. We used our fine motor skills to cut around in a circle.
In Maths this week we have been thinking about Doubling. The children have loved answering questions to show off their knowledge about how to show and double numbers.
We break up on Friday 26th May and return to school on Tuesday 6th.
