Week Ending 4th November
Welcome back to our class blog. A huge well done to all of our children for settling back to school brilliantly after a well deserved half term break. This week our text of the week has been Jacob O'Reilly Wants a Pet. We have loved looking at different animals and discussing why they make good pets, or not!
Our number of the week this week was number 8. We have explored all of the different ways we can represent the number using our magic maths carpet!
We are SO lucky in Reception to have a very special visitor to teach us Music this half term. Mrs. Shirley will be with us right until Christmas and this weeks session was all about Bonfire night. We listened the the sounds that fireworks make and noticed the difference in the noises. Mrs. Shirley gave us material and we had to move to the firework music. Our adults were so proud of our behaviour during our music afternoon and we can't wait until next week!
