Week Ending 5th May

Welcome back to our class blog. This week our text of the week has been Zog, a lovely story about a dragon who tries his best at school to get a gold star. We have completed lots of activities based around this book.

We have been writing about what we would do to win a golden star at dragon school which brought up a lovely conversation about all of the amazing things we already do!

We made our own Zog dragons, have a look below. Aren't they amazing!

We have also been practising writing our numerals. Some of us had a go at writing our numbers to 20! Counting to 20 and beyond is a skill that we have been working on for a few weeks, we have been really impressing our grown ups.

This week we took another trip to the ALPS. In preparation for the Coronation, we found sticks and used our fine motor skills to tie ribbon to them. We made some amazing ribbon stick and had fun exploring the environment while we were there.

We celebrated the Coronation of King Charles. We wore red white and blue to school and had a WHOLE SCHOOL PLAYTIME! How fun.

Next week our text is the Smartest Giant in Town. Have a watch of the story on Youtube!

Have a great weekend
