Happy New Year to all of our children and their families!
We have begun this new year with focus and drive upon our learning.
We are now accessing maths and phonics groups daily which is really helping us in our skills for counting, listening and early reading.
The children have come back to pre-school raring to go and appear ready to begin this new year with a flying start!
We would like to officially welcome Mrs Ramsay to our team after the departure of Mrs Wright. Mrs Ramsay will be with us up until the end of this academic year. Mrs Wright has been in touch, saying although she is missing the children very much, she is enjoying tghe new challenges of her new job role. We wish her every bit of luck!
We have celebrated with two children this week as they entered the number 4 club!
Our new learning topic is all about 'Our World'
This week we have thought about who lives at home with us and the other most important place in our lives- 'SCHOOL'!
We thought about our school 'family'. Who our friends are and who is there to help us.
Next week we will be thinking about places we visit, such as the park. We will be visiting the park across the road from school. The temperatures next week are set to be very cold. Please provide your child with appropriate footwear and clothing for being outdoors. Thank you.
