Maths
In maths this week our focus has continued to be on place value. We have been counting forwards from any number and finding the number one more. Next week we will be counting backwards. Practise with us at the weekend.
English
In English this week, we have been writing our own version of the Gruffalo! We've really enjoyed this story and loved thinking of different adjectives to describe all the characters this week.
Science
In science our topic is materials. We have been naming and identifying different materials in our classrooms. We could find wood, metal, glass plastic, fabric, paper and brick.
Topic
Our topic involved thinking about our favourite toys. Next week we will be thinking about how toys have changed over time. If you can, over the weekend please talk to the children about toys you enjoyed when you were little and how they were different to toys now.
