17th November

Hello!

This week we have been raising money for Children In Need!

We discussed what our money will be used for and we all agreed that we could DO OUR THING to help them.

We hve baked cakes and biscuits and decorated them as well as coming to school on Friday wearing our pyjamas!  Reg 2 raised £29.36p to donate to Children in Need.  Thank you to all of the grown ups who bought biscuits and brought in donations.

As well as being busy bakers, we have also been learning about the story 'Going on a Bear Hunt'.  We are going to be learning about this next week too, so if you would like to read this story or watch it with your child please follow the link below.
We have been collaging a bear, painting story maps and playing hide and seek with the bear using numbered bear caves to learn all about numbers upto 5.  Some children in our class blew the grown ups socks off as they recognise numbers to 10 and put them in right order! WOW!
As well as all of the other amazing learning we have been doing independently in continuous provision

And.......

We have begun our Healthy Lifestyles lessons this week.  Coach Sam came in to play games with us to get our hearts pumping!

We listened very carefully!

We cant wait to see what next week has in store for us!

Parents please remember:

**Parents meeting are on Monday and Tuesday this week (please see Mrs Rothwell if you are unsure of your appointment time)

**We are collecting glass jam jars for our Christmas activities

**Christmas costumes need to be in school for Friday 8th December

Thank you for coming to see us!
